Here's how to check the battery specs (e.g., Usage Time, Standby Time, etc.) for your G Pad 5 10.1 FHD.
Check out these tips for extending battery life.
Battery Specifications
- Up to approx. 33 hours Usage Time
- Up to approx. 17 days Standby Time
- The LG Pad 5™ 10.1 FHD has an 8200 mAh Li-Ion non-removable battery.
Battery Basics
- Battery life depends on the network, signal strength, temperature, features and accessories used.
- It's common for batteries to be warm from use or charging.
- This device has a Type-C charging port which allows for more data throughput and can support technologies such as Qualcomm QuickCharge 3.0.
- QuickCharge 3.0 which can give up to 50% charge in 30 minutes (charging slows after 50% to prevent stress to the battery).
Charging Port
- USB Type-C cables are reversible, meaning that there is no way to plug the cable into the port upside down.
- MicroUSB cables cannot be used, and may damage the port if used.
- The use of Type-C adapters is not recommended.
Overheating Concerns
- Some heat is anticipated and perfectly normal, though the tablet shouldn't become too warm to handle comfortably.
- The G Pad 5 10.1 FHD supports Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0, and therefore is likely to get warm during charging. This is expected, especially if the device is being operated while it's charging. If the device gets warm during normal use, see the tips above or turn on Adaptive battery by navigating:.SettingsBattery
