1. Lost/Stolen suspension
If your device is missing, suspend your line to block unauthorized access to the network.
Duration: Min of 30 days and maximum of 90 Days
First 30 Days: Billing is suspended
Day 31+, The billing will be automatically resumed .Even though your device and line will remain inoperable on our network.
2. Other reasons: (Vacation/Illness)
You may temporarily pause service with following reasoning, (e.g., Vacation, illness, extended travel).
Duration: Min of 30 days and maximum of 180 Days in a 12-month period.
First 30 Days: Billing is suspended
Day 180 days+, the line will be automatically reconnected after 90 consecutive days or when you reach the total 180-day suspension limit.
3. Suspension due to military deployment.
For deployments less than 90 days or within the Verizon coverage area, service can be suspended for up to 90 days. During this period, your monthly rate will be capped at $10 if normally higher, or you'll pay your usual lower rate. Device payment charges and recurring subscription charges will continue.
For deployments of 90 days or more outside the Verizon coverage area, service can be suspended for up to 3 years and 90 days. During this suspension, you won't be billed for any charges, including device payment loans
Eligibility: Requires official deployment orders (outside the coverage area) for 90+ days(or 30+ days for National Guard).
Max Duration: Up to 3 years and 90 days
Billing: No charges for service or Device Payment Agreements (DPA) during the suspension.
Exception: General recurring subscription charges (not device-specific) will continue unless canceled.
Disconnection Risk: If the line is not reconnected after the maximum limit, it is disconnected. The Early Termination Fee (ETF) is waived, but you will lose your number and may face accelerated DPA charges.
When suspending your line, the impact on your monthly payments and contract term depends on whether you suspend with Keep billing or Pause billing during suspension.

- Other: This option is not applicable for 'Other Suspension' (Vacation/Illness).
