DTS – Private Line

Overview

DTS provides low, medium, and high speed point-to-point or multi-point circuits from alarm, voice grade, and data circuits. Verizon Business helps customers design their service in order to aggregate bandwidth, making it possible for voice and data to converge for transmission between two WITS 3 sites using point-to-point circuits.

Features
 

• High Capacity. Digital Data Services transmit heavy volumes of digital information and support applications that demand high bandwidth, such as LAN-to-LAN connectivity and teleconferencing. Customers can connect directly to an Internet service provider for unrestricted access to the Internet and fast download times.
• Scalability. For digital DTS using T1 rates and below, the network will provide network-derived clocking to the connected Dedicated Transmission Equipment (DTE), digital PBX, intelligent multiplexers, or Local Area Network (LAN) bridge/router. The service will also provide data transport and will be transparent to any commercially supported protocol used by the DTE or bridge/router.
