Additional Fios TV Installation Information
· What happens during installation?
Your installation includes connecting up to three televisions with existing coaxial outlets (including installation of Set Top Boxes). It also includes programming of the Fios TV remote control for your Set Top Boxes and televisions. Additional TVs can be set up for an additional charge.
Our technicians will also do the outside work, including installation of any required network equipment such as the Optical Network Terminal (ONT) and router when ordered, if this equipment is not already present. Depending on the area and your office's set-up, our technician(s) may or may not fish walls or move furniture when installing or replacing wiring or installing Set Top Boxes. The technician will determine installation specifics with you on the date of installation.
· How long will installation take?
Installation time can vary based on a number of factors, but we recommend that you reserve about four hours for the Verizon technician to complete the installation of your Verizon Fios TV service. A person 18 years of age or older must be present for the installation visit and be able to make decisions on placement of wiring and equipment at your office. If you are having both Fios Internet and Fios TV installed, we recommend reserving six hours for the entire installation.
· How much does it cost to install extra outlets?
Your Verizon Fios TV technician can install new outlets for an additional charge. Depending on the area and your office's set-up, our technician(s) may or may not fish walls or move furniture when installing or replacing wiring or installing Set Top Boxes. What is Verizon Fios TV?
Using our state-of-the-art fiber optic network, Verizon Fios TV is the latest in entertainment and will transform the way you experience television. Fios TV has an extensive channel lineup of containing more than 500 digital channels and over 123 local and national HDTV channels, as well as exciting features such as recording service options and over 18,000 On Demand titles (including over 2,400 HD titles at any give time). With Fios TV, you get eye-popping color and vivid sound, amazingly-sharp pictures and a TV experience worth bragging about.
TV: Fios TV is compatible with all TV types. A cable-ready TV tuner gives you reception of local service below channels 49. High Definition (HDTV) service requires an HDTV, an HD Set-Top Box, and HDMI or DVI cables with an adapter.
Office wiring: Verizon Fios TV requires coaxial cable to connect from the Fios Optical Network Terminal on the outside of your office to your TV or Set-Top Box.
Set-Top Box: To receive digital programming, premium channels, the Interactive Media Guide or On Demand programming, a Set-Top Box is required.
If you do not already have Verizon Fios Internet service, the following equipment will also be installed by your Verizon Fios TV technician:
Optical Network Terminal (ONT) - An ONT will be installed on the outside of your office. The ONT needs to be plugged into an electrical outlet inside your office, so you'll need to ensure an outlet is located close to where the ONT will be installed.
Router - A router is used to provide program information and On Demand programming to your Set-Top Box over the coaxial TV cables in your office. The router provides a more secure networking environment and ensures the quality of service necessary to deliver the Fios TV service. In the future, should you choose, the router will facilitate application and content sharing in the office between your TVs and computers.
Note: DVR subscriptions, Pay Per View and Transactional Video On Demand are not available to all Business Customers and may not be exhibited by any customers to the public or patrons. If you have Verizon Fios Internet service, you already have an ONT and router in place. An additional ONT and router are not required in this situation.

How do I find out about future programming?
You can find future programming on the IMG, which lets you search for shows by day and time, title, actor or topic, or category (such as sports, comedy, or music). The IMG "TV Listings" displays a list of the programs available to watch at the present time and up to 14 days in the future.

On Demand from Fios TV is programming available for you to watch anytime - and includes movies, TV shows, premium channel content, and other programming. Verizon Fios TV provides a large library of On Demand titles and has programming defined into categories such as:
Programs provided for a fee can be ordered through the Fios TV IMG and the charges will appear on your monthly bill.
Can I order Pay-Per-View (PPV) or other special event programming?
Yes. Verizon Fios TV lets you see the latest PPV movies, shows, and events in a couple of easy steps with your remote. PPV programs may be watched at the specific show time, or if you have a DVR, you may be able to record a PPV program to view at a later time. Due to certain copyright restrictions, the DVR may not be able to record all PPV programs.
How do I filter out PPV and OnDemand channels, or other content that I don't want to see?
Verizon Fios TV Parental Controls lets you block access to shows either by channel or rating. You can also selectively block PPV and On Demand purchases. When programs with a particular rating level are blocked, the Fios TV IMG automatically blocks the higher ratings. You can create a PIN to ensure that controls won't be changed without your approval, and only those with the user-defined PIN can access the blocked content.
Does Verizon Fios TV offer programming in languages other than English?
Yes, we offer many premium international channels that are individually priced. Whether you want programming in Chinese or Russian, Farsi or Italian, we most likely have an option for you.
Do you offer programming in High Definition (HD) TV?
Yes. You can experience HD picture quality with Verizon Fios TV. All you need is an HD TV and either the HD Set-Top Box or HD DVR. We currently offer an extensive lineup of local, national, and premium HD programming, and will continue to expand our HD channel lineup as new content becomes available.
Shows offered in HD are identified in the IMG "TV Listings" by the HD symbol at the end of the program description.
