Steps to connect additional computers to a wireless home network with a Verizon MI424WR router
When adding computers to a D-Link wireless home network, you must install a wireless network adapter for each computer you are connecting to your home network. These network adapters receive and transmit the radio waves used to send and receive data.
Desktop Computers
Install a D-Link wireless USB network adapter for each desktop computer you're connecting to your home network. A USB cable connects the wireless adapter to an available USB port on your computer.
Notebook Computers
If you're connecting a laptop computer to your home network, you have two options for wireless network adapters.
Note: Many of the new notebook computers are manufactured with wireless network cards installed. Use Windows Device Manager in Windows XP to check whether you have a wireless network adapter installed.

Note: The Verizon MI424WR security screens and prompts may vary slightly from the directions below, depending on when you purchased your router and the version of the firmware loaded on it.
